Gippsland Dairy Region

GippsDairy covers the dairying region from the edge of the city to the east coast of Victoria and the border with NSW. Its 1,714 dairy farms produced 23% of Australia’s milk making it the largest milk producing area in Australia in 2008/09. Distribution of the dairy farms across Gippsland is shown by shire below.
