Young Dairy Development Program Co-ordinator

Kylie Barry

Kylie is located at the GippsDairy office and works as the Regional Co-ordinator of the Young Dairy Development Program. The job requires Kylie to foster productive relationships with young people in dairying, especially dairy farmers, those in the service industries and the public sector.

Kylie’s role also means that she supports the three Gippsland Local Advisory Committees at Maffra, Fish Creek and Warragul.

Kylie is an enthusiastic and friendly person which is a great asset as she organises lots of events right through from the guest speakers to venues and catering. She supports the groups at events and will pitch in and help from cooking snags on the BBQ, to getting feedback from participants and collating that for feedback to sponsors and the groups.

Kylie maintains a budget for each committee, manages the membership database and is always trialling new ways of communicating with members, from texting, web pages to eNews subscriptions.

Kylie is married with two young sons and is very happy when she can indulge in her love of camping, motor bike riding, playing netball and of course, socializing with friends.
