John has been the Chair of GippsDairy since 2010 and a GippsDairy Board member since 2007. He is an integral member of the eight regional development programs across Australia and an active member of the United Dairyfarmers of Victoria (UDV). John has also been a member of the long running Jindivick discussion group, has roles on GippsDairy projects and the national People Development Council and runs a dairy farm at Longwarry with his wife Lyn.
